Pedal Prix

Our highly successful Pedal Prix program has been in operation for over 30 years. This program involves students working as a team to compete in human powered vehicles (trikes). Our program has grown, becoming more inclusive and now has three bikes in operation.

Students in Yrs 5 and 6 are eligible to partake in this program and it requires a commitment to fortnightly training, a six hour race at Victoria Park, two races at Tailem Bend, a six and eight hour and if any bikes finish in the top 10 they qualify for the 24 hour race at Murray Bridge, a highlight of the program. Through our program we see students overcoming fears, gaining in fitness and achieving a sense of camaraderie as they work with their team mates. Parents are encouraged to be involved in Pedal Prix through fund-raising and working in the shed on a Thursday evening getting the bikes ready for racing.
