Governing Council


Diarmid Lee - Chairperson

Diarmid has two children at WPPS, Xavier (Yr 6) and Alba (Yr 3). This is Diarmid's 6th year on Governing Council and 3rd year as the Chair. He is a Director at Leed Consulting, a consultancy specialising in organisational development and culture change, and also sits on the Board of Relationships Australia South Australia.


Mark Anders - Treasurer

Mark joined the Governing Council in 2021 and has 3 children attending the school. Having a finance and accounting background Mark has taken on the role of Treasurer and is Chair of the finance committee.

Mark enjoys working with the Governing Council members and other people in the school community to assist provide a memorable primary school experience for the children.


James Telford

James has two children at WPPS, Jackson (Yr 5) and April (Yr 2). This is his second year on the Governing Council and he also sits on the Education Sub-Committee. James’ family values our wonderful school community and is delighted to be part of the link to the WPPS leadership and education team.

Jasmin Gobbett

Jasmin Gobbett joined the Governing council in 2021.  Jasmin lives locally and her daughter Isabel is in yr 1 this year.  Having previously been a part of Kindergarten & several sport governing councils she is passionate about being involved with WPPS Governing Council.  Jasmin is looking forward to helping assist in the continuous improvement and support community education for the local community.  Feel free to reach out to Jasmin via email (jasmin.gobbett@gmail.com).


Philippa Marsh

Philippa has 3 children at the school, Isla LC4 and Eden and Oscar in M11. Philippa is a teacher with many years of classroom experience and is now a Lecturer at UniSA. Philippa has been on the GC for the past three years and this year has taken on the role of working with a wonderful group of parents to coordinate the Fundraising Committee.


Phillipa Tilburgs

Phillipa is passionate about education and has spent 14 years in Management Accounting and Budgeting within the education sector during her 22 years of financial management experience. Having held various positions at the University of Adelaide for over 12 years Phillipa decided to move into a role that would allow her to spend more time with her three girls. You can now find Phillipa making sushi at the canteen every fortnight.

Natalie GreenlandNatalie Greenland

Nat has two children at WPPS - Max in Year 3 and Harry in Year 1. Nat has worked in the local and national non-government sector in a variety of research and evaluation roles, providing evidence-informed advice in areas including youth homelessness, child protection and family support. This is Nat's first year on the Governing Council and she looks forward to contributing to the school.

Marnie Hope

Marnie has two children at WPPS, Ryan in year 2 and Eva in reception. This is her first year on the Governing Council and is on the Education and Grounds and Facilities Committee too.

Marnie works in the climate change and sustainability area and loves to go camping and all things STEM related. She loves the sense of community at WPPS and looks forward to positively contributing to the Council and Committees. Marnie has been on the Mitcham Pre School Governing Council before and volunteered for Guide Dogs.
